There should be a leader board for the fastest times on each level. Not like online but just posted in the descriptions for the fastest seen.
A level editor would be honestly really cool ;) Really good fangame tho. I was so happy to find out that these videos were playable!

Bro be patient, we don't have all the time in the world to make this game. Rebindable controls are coming next update which will hopefully come out in like a month or 2

Don't worry, it's not you, the game is just really hard. Remember there are some settings you can use to help you, like infinite lives and checkpoints
the Goomba pyramid level is impossible /j
