Why Can't I Use My Controller On This Game?
What kind of controller is it?

On my android I tried to change the button layout but it wouldn't let me exit and save
the test level needs to be paused for you to be able to leave the menu. You can pause it by tapping the pause button on the top right corner.
How do you turn on checkpoint's I couldn't find it in the setting's
on the level select screen, click the checkpoint flag button to enable checkpoints
Maybe you should add a button to reset the levels but not the controls
you mean like a reset game progress button? I'm planning to add that in a future update
You should add the extra and crawl to tiny Mario and big Mario as well.
Maybe you should add an option for completing levels in one life but a description that says only for people who are skilled enough can attempt it.
By that I mean what is on the picture.

you should make a shortcut to the exe instead of dragging the exe out of the folder

Right click the exe, click view more options if you are on windows 11, then click create shortcut. Then you can drag that shortcut onto your desktop

they will come out one at a time when they are finish. In the meantime, try inputting "supersecretbeta" in the main menu and try entering one of those levels :)

what is all the movements and what do they do like the spike mayhem has a lot but I have no clue what they do

It would take a much longer time to make specific levels because of what mario can do in these types of levels. Even then this is still incredibly hard to program and idk how you thought of pizza tower when typing this
If he does dedicate a lot of time in making that singular level, it would delay some other features that are planned to come out in the future e.g. multiplayer levels (mentioned in the description of the itch.io page for the game)

There are checkpoints already. You can enable them by clicking the star button in the level select screen and then clicking the checkpoint flag. I will be making the option more visible in the next update

I love Super Mario and I love balloons
I put this into the Video Suggestion channel in the discord server, but truth be told, there is almost no way this can be coded into the game.
But is there a way where you can just not have any blocks on the bottom and make the balloons just a different skin of the normal block?

Hello. This is a really fun game, and I have managed to complete six out of the seven levels! But, for the life of me, I cannot complete the coin doors maze, because the wall jump is so difficult! In Nintendo Mario games, you can just hold the jump button to do a wall jump, but in this game, you have to be holding the button to the wall to continue the wall jump, and then quickly switch to the other direction. Could this please be changed in the next update? Amazing game as a whole, and this is my one issue.
Yes I am currently doing a movement update and I am planning to improve the wall jump for the next update!

you just do what mario did in the video, use cape to flip the giant thwomp, then stomp on its back until it falls, then ground pound it to win
I tried to jump to get the thwomp back but I just get uno reversed by him

Thanks for playing our game again!! However I was yelling the whole time that there was a checkpoints setting while you were complaining that there was none!! If you click the star button on the level select screen, there are 3 modifier options available which make the game easier, and one of those adds checkpoints! There is one checkpoint in the coin door maze and two checkpoints in world of spikes! Hopefully you are able to read this so that you can find the setting next time you play the game!
